You want to get better at the guitar. I give guitar lessons.
Come in and take a lesson with me. The first one is FREE. This way, you can test me out. If I'm not the guy to teach you, then you still got a free lesson.
Are you tired of walking out of a lesson feeling like you still don't know what to do, like you don't understand what to practice or how it relates to the songs you want to play? Let's put a stop to the confusion.
I teach music theory, sight-reading, scales, chords, arpeggios, etc. . . all that stuff. More importantly, I teach you all that stuff. . . as it's directly related to your favorite songs and how you can APPLY it to the music that you want to play.
Those are the important bits. However, some people want to know in advance what the details of billing and scheduling are. So, if you want those, then read on.
The price is $30 per hour. I charge by the month (not the first *lesson* of the month, but the first calendar day of the month). You pay for however many lesson days fall in that particular month. Show up, do your homework and practice, and you'll get better. . . I can almost guarantee it. Ultimately, it's up to you. Do either half-hour or full hour lessons. Your choice.
I've been playing for over 20 years, teaching for over 12 years. I have been playing in bands since I was 18. I studied jazz at UNCW and before that, I was in jazz ensemble at a community college. I play rock, blues, jazz, funk, folk, metal and a few other styles. I teach out of my home on Mountain Lake Dr. in Raleigh.
I look forward to working with you and helping you get to where you want to be with the guitar.
