Fight Prime Training Center & Fitness has a variety of classes to help you reach your desired goals. Our professional and passionate team will dedicate their time to make certain you have fun and succeed. We have classes for all ages 4 and up! Your first class is always FREE! Class Descriptions: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi) This BJJ class focuses on ground grappling. This class is recommended for all skill & fitness levels looking to improve, and refine their BJJ fundamentals. In our BJJ Gi class students earn strips, and belts given by our head instructors. The hour and a half class consists of a twenty-minute warm-up. Forty minutes of BJJ fundamentals. Each technique is broken down step-by-step by instructors, and than practiced with a partner. The final thirty minutes of class are dedicated to training. In this portion of class students have the opportunity to practice their techniques in real time. Staying true to FPTC philosophy, the entire class places emphasis on safety, and respect for training partners at all times. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (NoGi) This BJJ class focuses primarily on ground submissions. However, standing to ground transitions are also practiced. Recommended for all skill & fitness levels, this class consists of a wide range of grappling techniques that build off BJJ fundamentals. Students will get acclimated to the fast pace of nogi submission grappling. The hour and a half class consists of a twenty-minute warm-up. Forty minutes of technique instruction, and practice with a partner. Again, the final thirty minutes are dedicated to five minute round training with multiple partners. Safety and respect is emphasized at all times. Muay Thai This striking class focuses on the fundamentals of kicks, punches, knees, and elbows. Often referred to as the "art of eight limbs" instructors teach students how to effectively immobilize their opponent. Recommended for all skill & fitness levels, each class is an hour and a half. The first twenty minutes consists of a warm-up geared towards strengthening the unorthodox muscles used for Muay Thai. The next hour of class is dedicated to striking instruction and practice. Students will pair up taking turns holding pads, and striking. The final ten minutes of class is a wrap-up agility, strength, and conditioning workout. Safety and respect is emphasized at all times. Judo Contrary to BJJ, Judo focuses primarily stand up take downs with limited ground grappling. Judo is an Olympic sport practiced in over thirty countries by both male and female competitors. Students will learn a wide variety of techniques to immobilize and subdue their opponent. Classes are suited for all ages and skill levels with step by step break down of techniques. Wrestling Classes offer a blend of traditional collegiate and MMA style wrestling. The main focus of this class will be on take down set up, counter wrestling, and top control. Wrestling will consist of drilling techniques and free wrestling to improve fitness level. Once again, all ages and skill levels are encouraged.
