- Pet Sitting & Walking
CPR certified, UNR student, female (26 years old) with experience as a veterinary assistant. Loves animals (any and all), reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
I would like to offer my services as a house sitter/ pet sitter should you need one for a planned vacation, last minute emergency trip, frequent travel for business/personal reasons (or if you are just extremely busy with work and need someone to come by and check on your pets.)
If you need someone reliable and trustworthy and don't have the funds to pay for expensive day cares, boarding or professional house sitting services, then I think I can help!
A bit about myself, I am a 26 year old female currently enrolled in UNR getting my pre-requisites to apply to veterinary school. I already have a bachelor's degree in film and international Journalism from the American University of Paris. I am fluent in French, English and speak a bit of German. I am great with computers, very detail orientated and organized and a hard worker. I am also very punctual and follow directions and schedules very strictly. I grew up with cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, horses, pigs, parokeets, frogs, turtles --- to name a few, so I am confident taking care of any animal. (I've also pet sit for a boa constrictor so snakes are OK with me as well :) )
Animals are a huge passion of mine. I have ridden hunter/jumper competitively for 15 years so caring for horses or other large animals is no problem. I've owned 5 of my own horses and am comfortable working with them, whether it just be feeding them and mucking stalls to lunging them or turning them out so they can get some exercise outside of their stalls. I also offer equine training services.
I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past couple of years as well and am dog/cat CPR certified. I am willing to keep whatever routine you may have for your pets, whether its walking them at 6 am or taking them to dog parks daily. My veterinary training ensures that their health and well being is my main concern - I can also differentiate between minor health concerns and life threatening emergencies, saving you money on emergency veterinary visits.
My sincere love for animals ensures that I will take care of your pets as if they were my own and my professionalism, punctuality and organization ensures that your home will be taken care of exactly as instructed by you.
I have reliable transportation, a flexible schedule and am willing do any cleaning, organizing or other tasks you would like to have taken care of while you are away. Pricing may vary depending on number of animals (if any), the tasks you'd like me to complete and the number of days you'll need my services. I will work with you for pricing and am open to negotiating. Located in Reno but willing to travel if gas is paid for.
