Even though I'm an experienced teacher and Carnegie-Mellon graduate, I understand that most parents want their child to learn music as just one part of a well-rounded education.
The method I use emphasizes note reading rather than finger numbers, and includes music theory from the very start. Games teach tonal memory and rhythm. I'm friendly, patient and kind, and I teach to each student's level.
Reasonable rates, and the first lesson is free.
