We'll learn how to read music
Bring it on: we'll read music notation in both treble and bass clefs, as well as rhythm, by the end of the day!
Essentials of music theory which are useful for beginning piano
This will kick start your relationship with several fancy terms that are helpful for fast learning of any musical instrument.
We'll also learn the basics of chord symbols
This comes along with the theory and reading of music notation. By the end of the day you'll have heard about major and minor triads and will know how to figure them out and also how to hear the difference.
