Hello My name is Stuart K. Shoemaker and I am the proprietor of Blue Spruce Horticulture here in my hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado.


We provide a range of services including interior and outdoor professional plant care and design.

Interior services include: House Plant Care; watering house plants, re-potting, fertilizing, pruning, disease and pest management. Interior Plantscape Design; We design and install a custom interior plantscape for your home based on available light, design principles, pets, and customer input.

Exterior services include: Care and maintenance of both ornamental and vegetable gardens: Irrigation of gardens while customers are away from home, light landscape duties including bed prep, pruning, plant installation, and drip irrigation systems, harvesting of fruits and vegetables, soil nutrient analysis, and integrated pest management.

I hold a degree from Colorado State University with studies in Horticulture, Greenhouse Management, and Anthropology. Additionally, I have close to 10 years of experience working in commercial greenhouse growing, Landscaping services, Public Gardening, and Organic Farming.
