I can help you with grammar, pronunciation, reading and writing.
Many of my students are professionals -- doctors, scientists, software engineers
and business people -- so I can also help you with scientific papers or presentations
as well as ordinary conversation. References happily provided. I have also worked
with the wives of many professionals, and I am happy to work with whole families
(including small children).
I have a degree in English from Harvard and a masters degree in psycholinguistics
(the psychology of language) from Tufts University. I have also studied language
at Oxford University in England and MIT in Cambridge, Mass. At various times
in my life, I have studied Latin, Greek, Sanskrit, French, German and Japanese,
so I can help you to understand English from the perspective of your own language.
$30 per hour, or 4 hours per week for $100 ($25/hour).
Free parking available (at some times of day).
I will happily come to your office or neighborhood for an additional charge (varies with distance and time required).
