Hi, my name is Brandy Mayhew. I've been restoring antique furniture for 30 years now. I first started working with Wayne Pratt and his cabinet makers in Marlboro Ma.
I'm now taking up shop in WestfordMa. and been at at my old shop on Main St. in Groton Ma. for over 25 of them years. I do mostly top end 18th and 19th century furniture, but will repair or replace broken parts to most furniture. I repair-restore-veneer-inlay-wood-fine finishes-old paint. I've lost a few of my dealer I've worked for for years, there getting old and getting out of the business and I'm looking to find some more dealers or auctioneers to take there place.
I can give you names and numbers of a few I do work for, like Kaminski's auctions, Pam Boynton, the Scotts from N.H. to name a few. I hand strip [if needed], make my own stains, waxes, finishes. Most of the time use old woods and glass. I'm up for working on most anything.I just restored a ship in case, carved some missing parts on a eagle,13th century bowl, and jar for Kaminski's.
