Hello, my name is Roland, owner of All Purpose Fitness Training and certified SFS through National Academy Sports Medicine. The location of the training studio is off the main road of Pat Booker at 1604/35.The PURPOSE of training your body to get into better shape, even at a later age, is often sought after. That's why I chose to get educated into this specialty. Some reasons and types of training provided are:
1) Posture analysis and corrective exercise- This is to assess which muscles in the body are tight, overactive, or underactive. Is we find out which muscles need strengthening and which ones need lengthening, we can be on the way to helping you move better and feel better.
2)As our body and metabolism changes over time, it's harder to preserve healthy lean muscle tissue and strength. A resistance (weight) training program segment within the training sessions help counter degeneration. The proper exercises for your current fitness level will be applied for steady progression.
3)The body gets more prone to broken bones and fractures due to higher risks of falls. Balance training is done to give you the confidence to imidigate injuries and better body movement.
4)Body fat- If gaining weight has crept up over the years, you can still bring it back down. It's not too late. Sure it may take some time as it didn't happen overnight, but you will be on the road to a lighter healthier you.
5)Cardio conditioning- A detailed cardio program will be given for you to apply pertaining to your specific goals and current fitness level. As you progress, your type of cardio segment training can change as well.
6)Senior specific nutritional guidance pertaining to your age, gender, weight, and goals.
