My name is Benjamin, and I'm a professional tutor with over fifteen years of experience helping students reach their full academic potential. I hold a degree in English from UCLA and specialize in language mechanics. I am very familiar with the curriculum of both California public schools and top private academies. Many of my past clients have significantly improved their test scores and gained admission to elite universities such as Yale, Stanford, Amherst, and Berkeley.

I am familiar with a wide variety of British and American literature, and I have a vast knowledge of European, US, and world history. Furthermore, I can teach students to write quality essays with precision and clarity.

-I am happy to help juniors and seniors prepare for the SAT, ACT, or SAT II subject exams related to English and history. I can also help seniors complete college applications and craft amazing personal statements.

-If your child is in elementary school, I can offer regular sessions to improve his or her reading comprehension and study skills.
