Hello!!!
My name is Josh and I'm the the owner of South Shore Chimney. We've been in businesses now for almost 8 years and am one of the fornutate souls who loves what they do!!!
I started this company in the fall of 2010 after calling multiple larger sweep companies and being blown away by the prices. I did eventually hire one and was extremely disappointed with the service. It was a very young man, by himself with almost no experience. He did the best he could but admitted to me he'd only been working 3 weeks and was in a bit over his head when I started asking him questions.
That very same week I decided I could offer the consumer what that young man couldn't; a properly trained, knowledgeable professional who can handle any situation in the field.
Fast forward to now and I have 4 trucks and 8 impeccable employees. We're now a full service chimney company but don't forget our roots and still focus on the ART of sweeping chimneys!!!
For a great, personal experience, please don't hesitate to call for a free estimate and a chance to offer the level of professionalism that is sometimes lacking in the contractor world. We're able to charge less then larger companies as I OWN my trucks and don't have leases on them.
