SHSAT Tutoring Available from Harvard Educated Tutors for $80 an hour. If students are willing to be tutored in a group (up to 3), the rate is $60 an hour per child. If you can find a group of three and secure a location for us all to meet, that would be ideal. Tutors travel to YOU so there is no concern about arriving to the tutor in time because the tutor will arrive to you in time. Minimum session times are two hours to maximize student learning and tutor scheduling.
Tutors provide a diagnostic test, workbooks, the SHSAT guide for the current year, and responsive feedback based on student progress. Every student needs different things, but even in a group, we can make it work to ensure that students are receiving the support they need in order to make relevant progress.
Tutors are trained educators, who have passed the NYCDOE fingerprint clearance.
