Interested in learning how to play guitar? Contact me! Guitar is an instrument I feel that everyone should know how to play. My goal is to try and make that happen! I have been playing and studying the guitar and music extensively for almost 15 years. I have a substantial amount of experience in the music industry, I've studied at a local academy and have received countless lessons and training to achieve the skill and success I have now.
I am willing to teach children and adults.
I can teach how guitars work, why they work the way they do, and what the components are that make them work.
I can start by teaching basic chord structure, how to read tablature, scales, harmony, and rhythm - all the way up to advanced music theory. I believe in a personalized curriculum developed to help you reach your guitar playing goals. I'm a very well known guitar instructor around Columbus with countless recommendations and a very happy, sizable clientele base.
I am highly experienced in playing out and very comfortable playing on stage. I fix guitars and set them up professionally, (complimentarily free for students) I am also a contract guitarist for hire so you can see me playing anywhere around Columbus whether it be an event, a worship band, theatre, etc...
I am a very patient teacher and can help you figure out what you want to play and how to play it. I have a place to teach in Hilliard, west side Hill Top, and Pataskala. I do Skype lessons and I can also travel to you depending on circumstance!
First lesson with me is free so we can meet, intro, break the ice, and get to know each other as well as the instrument. I charge $12 an hour for Skype lessons, $30 for an hour long in-person session, $100 ($45 for Skype) for a monthly flat rate consisting of an hour long session once a week or $140 ($65 for Skype) for 6 sessions after the FREE first lesson! Financing lessons are always subject to vary and accustomed to circumstance so we'll just figure it out after our first trial lesson :)
