From Feb. 5th - April 15th, 2019 Aarp TaxAide provides basic free tax preparation to anyone of any age. Our volunteers offer their services from 9 am-6 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
We are located at the Gateway Community Center(Gateway West Mall)1203 Hwy 2 W in Kalispell, Suite 50. Use SW Entrance A, proceed around the corner and you will see our sign.
Volunteers are trained and certified through the IRS and must sign a confidentiality agreement. Our program does limit the complexity of the tax returns we can prepare. Some examples of returns considered to be beyond our scope are: farm income, rental income, returns with a significant number of capital gains/losses and business income that includes, employees, depreciation, inventory or a business loss.
