Hello.
My name is Rick Steier

I have played LEAD guitar in concert all over the world with Warrant and Kingdom Come sharing the stage with bands such as Van Halen, Scorpions, LA Guns and Whitesnake!

Now that I have children of my own, I specialize in teaching guitar to students of ALL AGES. My students' ages range from 7 to 65.

30 years experience.

I teach -
1. How to play chords. Even advanced jazz chords.
2. Sight reading.
3. Soloing over all types of rhythms and chord changes.
4. Music Theory ( Why is a Bminor7th chord called that?)
5. Most any type song.
6. Song writing and composition.
7. Advice on becoming successful in the music business. (I'VE BEEN THERE)

I teach students how to play by teaching them the kind of music THEY are interested in. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO LEARN BECAUSE THEY DON'T GET BORED!!! Learning fundamentals by way of songs is not only fun, but keeps the student motivated and wanting to practice. For older students, I specialize in teaching CLASSIC ROCK ie, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Journey, Black Sabbath, Tom Petty, etc.
