I need a House Cleaner

We rent a one bedroom house. Currently a disaster (neither my girlfriend nor I drink or anything). She works as lawyer full time and I am in school and both of us are incredibly messy. Realistically, I think the first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen) could be knocked out in a good day's worth of work. Obviously, this will not be a long-term job, but will probably be a 3 or 4 hour block of work per visit. It's just lots of books and papers and stuff. If you are able to install shelves that is something else I am more than willing to pay for (I would propably need your suggestions for what to buy first since the house is from the 1920's and is mainly thick plaster walls and don't want to screw them up). Also, hardwood floors, no carpets and I have a hardwood floor vacuum if that's of any help. Thanks
