Connie Skinner allowed a Pit Bull who was supposed to be in their Junior training class to be in the Puppy Kindergarten course. Thus was the first time our puppies had ever been in the class, and she immediately had us take our puppies off leash and we were told to step back and let the Pitbull and the Puppies mix. The Pitbull went directly toward my tiny puppy. I scooped up my puppy. Connie Skinner said she puts Pitbulls with the puppies on day 1 many times in her training and that there was nothing to worry about. My puppy and I left. I will be reversing the credit charge on this class and hope that someone speaks to Connie to encourage not to handle her Puppy Kindergarten classes this way in the future. maybe Mind Your Manners is a company that should be better described as one that will mix dan
Mancini came highly recommended by one of the Deputies that I used to work with...and I have to say I agree that MYM dog training is the best! My two rescue dogs were a real handful, and now I can manage them with ease. I was the one who needed the most training! But all in all I would have to say that they really do know what they is doing. Two thumbs up!
I Just wanted to update my review from before. I forgot to mention that they also trained my dog Yoohoo and did a great job. I continue to board and though they have moved over the years continue to take great care of my baby. I will admit that their customer service could be a little better but we are talking only two people running this business and if you ask me I would rather take my fur child to someone like these people who take excellent care of my dog and my dog comes back happy every time. Im sorry I would take that over them answering every call or email to my beckoning any day of the week. I would recommend Mind Your Manners and ONLY Mind Your Manners to anyone with a loved one that happens to have 4 paws. THESE PEOPLE TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY DOGS AND IM SORRY I TAKE THAT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK OVER AN UPDATE EMAIL OR HUMAN COMMUNICATION. I feel that the more time they were to spend talking with humans or people about their dog take away attention from my precious pups. THANK YOU
MAJOR ISSUES. We took our 4 dogs to Mind Your Manners for training. 2 as obedience, 1 emotional support and 1 full service dog. . From the beginning there were issues with communications but we tried to work with them. Their business practices and communications are reprehensible. There was always a different story about pick up days, they never sent progress photos as promised, they would stop communicating for days at a time, the list goes on. Since we brought our dogs home in July of 2017 I have been trying to get them to send our dogs ID Cards and vests. I have called, emailed, sent yelp messages, texted, etc. Once in a while I will get a quick response with a "Sorry, they will go out tomorrow", then 2 weeks later when they don't show up I start the whole process over again. Last week, my text messages were bounced back. Today a new phone number appeared on Yelp and they actually answered. More stories. It has been OVER 15 MONTHS that I have been trying to resolve this
I have been boarding my sweet girl Yoohoo with for several years. Yoohoo is so happy to get there, her tail starts wagging and she is jumping from the front seat to the back until we park.I take my baby here because she always leaves happy and because I know she is safe.
