Helping students discover themselves and their talent is what it's all about. Watching a student's world open up and grow as they explore the world of music is something I never tire of being a part of. It is particularly rewarding to me when I can reconnect to my own passion for both music and teaching through a student's enthusiasm for the art. I have taught students form 6 to 60 so any and ALL ages or leves of ability are welcome in my studio.

In addition to my years of teaching, I have an extensive professional performance background. I have spent more then 20 years performing and recording in and around the Boston area, throughout the United States, and Europe. This 'hands-on' experience in the music business has given me a unique perspective into music as a vocation and has allowed me to impart a relevant knowledge and point of view to my students, something not necessarily available to many educators.
