Mangold Ranch Versatility is holding our annual Summer Horsemanship Camp Starting in July and running through August! This camp specializes in teaching the fundamentals of proper horsemanship and riding technique! The program is designed for all children participating, beginner through advanced riding abilities to learn something new and to develop a genuine foundation of skills while working with horses! There are many actives children will participate in that will enhance their team work development, leadership skills, safety skills, and physical fitness. Our family ranch atmosphere makes everyone feel at home, so join in the fun this summer down on Mangold Ranch! Giddy Up, & give us a call! What is Summer Horsemanship Camp: The summer horsemanship program is designed to give children ages 6 -16 an experience of natural horsemanship and to have fun at the same time. This experience is held on a family oriented working horse ranch. Activities: Students will learn basic horsemanship skills such as grooming, riding, lounging techniques, ground work, ranch work, and proper care of the animals. When is it: The first day the program starts is Tuesday, July 12th, 2016. This is an 8 week program that is held on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 1- 4pm, all summer long. The last day is Thursday, September 1st 2016. Cost: 1 child: $300 per month, 2 children: $450 per month, 3 children or more please call for pricing. What to bring: Students will need to bring a small snack and drink. (non-perishable food and drink only please) Students will also be required to bring a riding helmet.
