Tennis has been a passion of mine since I began playing at 11 years old, and my enthusiasm for the game has only grown. At 14 years old, I began training at Westwood country club, which lead me to become competitive in leagues, school events, CATA tournaments, where I had the #1 ranking in Austin in my age group, and then USTA tournaments where I held a Texas ranking.
During this time, I also set multiple tennis records at my high school which are still in place today, such as competing regionally individually two years in a row and in team tennis two years in a row. I also played at the collegiate level while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business.
I have been coaching tennis for the last 8 years. I first taught at National Junior Tennis League under the expertise of Sarah Pernell. I also taught at Pharr Tennis Center for a short time during the summer of college under head pro, Concordia University head coach, Ricky Steinberg. During college, I became a weekend pro intsrtuctor at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch and for three years I taught the adult clinics for the majority of the time and also week long junior programs. I continue to enjoy playing and coaching tennis today!
