Additional info: I don’t know what type of gas was placed in my Troy bilt lawnmower- I let someone use it. When I went to cut my grass it started to backfire then moments later it shut off. I siphoned it out and found particles in the gas. I put fresh gas in it , now it sputters . If it cranks up it shuts off after 5 or 10 seconds.
