The owner of this company is currently being prosecuted by the Commonwealth’s Attorney with a felony. Her return court date is 1/24/2020. Please report her activity to the police and contact the Commonwealth Attorneys office. Her business license expired in 2018 and the city has been notified.
Beware that they are operating under another business name now. Patricia Lavin and Chris Conley are operating under Beaver Tree Services & Landscaping. Same deal. They did a good job once and then came back and wanted to do more. I paid them and then they left all the debris in the yard. The business license is under Patricia Lavin's name in VB at 5496 Club Head Road. My checks were made out to her at her request so they are obviously not paying taxes on the business they are doing. My next call will be to the Commonwealth's attorney's office.
Do not hire. They never finished job and stole our gorilla ladder. We paid them $3000 for two trees. I continually had to fetch them from my neighbors yard where they were doing work when they were supposed to be finishing mine. They returned to my house and harassed my babysitter looking for equipment they said they left but when told to contact homeowner refused. Never returned my numerous phone calls to settle issues.
I hired them to cut a tree back. The quote I got included removal of the debris. I paid them and then found out they weren't removing the tree they piled up in the middle of my yard for two more days. Apparently, their kids had a baseball game. Being the mother of kids in sports, I accepted their promise to come back and remove it. 2 weeks have passed and numerous texts and calls and they still have not returned to remove the debris. I now have to pay someone else to cut up the tree and remove it. I would never hire this company back and do not recommend them. If I could give minus stars, I would. Also checking on their "licensed and insured" statement. I cannot find evidence of either. I will be reporting them to the BBB for fraud.
Hired them 4/3/2018 and they completed the work 4/10/2018. They removed 2 large trees, cleaned up 6 large pine trees among cleaning up various other smaller trees. They did a phenomenal job! I would recommend them to anyone and cannot wait to have them do other work in the future. The cleanup work was awesome!
