As a long time motorcycle enthusiast, I have been riding and racing motorcycles daily for over 20 years. During this time frame, I’ve had the privilege of riding just about every Motorcyle there is. This provides me the unique ability to teach people of all ages how to effectively and safely ride and operate not only their own cycles, but those of others as well. I always instill in people that if you can “Ride One, You can Ride Them ALL.”
My private training course is focused solely on Safety as my number one priority! My unique training curriculum allows people of all skill levels to learn and learn quickly guaranteed!
I have been providing private 1-on-1 motorcycle training for over 4 years. I am extremely thorough, patient, kind, and possess the ability to tailor any lesson to various customer specific needs while addressing their main concerns. What I provide isn’t just a service teaching someone how to ride. I am providing you with the necessary skills to have fun, enjoy the ride, but more importantly, STAY ALIVE!

WHAT WE OFFER
Unmatched, private, one-on-one motorcycle training! We specialize in providing tailored lessons to meet everyone’s needs as they learn to ride, and it’s done at the customers pace!
JR’s uses unique exercise designs and concepts throughout the lesson that all riders can learn from. JR’s also offers a variety of additional services including motorcycle transport, ride-along coaching sessions, road test prep/rentals, new and used motorcycle purchase assistance, motorcycle repair and maintenance services, and more! Each lesson lasts approximately 3-4 hours based on the individual’s needs and progression.
SERVICES PROVIDED
ONE-ON-ONE MOTORCYCLE TRAINING
Each lesson includes the following:
• Two to three hour private lesson designed to utilize step-by-step progression. Lessons are tailored to new and more experienced riders looking to improve or refresh their current skills.
Each rider is taught at their own pace according to personal comfort level. As each skill is mastered, our clients gain the confidence needed to exceed any self-imposed limitations.
• Detailed explanation of the motorcycle, controls, instrument cluster and how to use each effectively to develop safe ride habits.
• Proper pre-ride checks, emergency braking, maneuvering techniques and more! JR’s teaches rain or shine. This allows us to adequately train and prepare you for safe riding no mater the road conditions.
• Post-lesson Q & A to cover anything motorcycle related you may still have on your mind.
• Ongoing access to your trainer to answer questions, address concerns or to provide additional assistance ongoing that you may need.
• Guaranteed to leave lesson feeling more confident, relaxed, and most importantly, knowing how to ride and operate the motorcycle safely!
• Riders with known or unique learning differences are encouraged to disclose this information prior to lesson so that additional accommodations can be made if needed.
WHAT’S REQUIRED
• Valid automobile driver’s license, motorcycle permit or motorcycle license that must be current at time of the lesson.
• Executed Waiver of Liability
PAYMENT
• Each private lesson lasts 3-4 hours and costs $375
• If your specific learning style requires longer than usual lesson times, or multiple lessons, arrangements can be made for subsequent lessons at a reduced cost.
• For areas that exceed a distance of 20 miles from Marlton, NJ, an additional fee may be applied to accommodate for gas, tolls, time and mileage. Any additional fee will be discussed prior to scheduling.
• Appointment times are limited and slotted to accommodate riders with a true desire to learn to ride. For this reason, any cancellations within 48 Hours of scheduled lesson will result in the forfeiture of your payment. Extenuating circumstances will be accommodated if JR’s PCL is notified in a timely manner.

At JR’s Private Cycle Lessons, our mission is to teach those who want to learn how to safely and effectively ride a motorcycle. When you come to JR’s Private Cycle Lessons, you receive personalized, non-stop instruction, customized to your specific skill level.
While we recognize the value of state run safety courses, these classes are 2-3 days long, designed as a one size fits all approach, and are executed by an outdated curriculum designed to leave you feeling underprepared on the road. Whether you grasp a concept quickly or need more time, you are only able to learn at the pace of those around you. At JR’s, we use a customized approach to teach you how to ride at your own pace while building your comfort and confidence level as your progress.
We are not affiliated with DMV or state run safety courses. Although we cannot offer you an endorsement on your license, we can offer you the ability to train and get your license with our assistance.
As individual results vary based on learning styles, please note that riding is not for everyone! We will always do our best to ensure every rider who comes to us leaves satisfied and knowing how to ride. However, there are times where unfortunately we will advise you that riding a motorcycle may not be for you. This is not only for your protection, but that of others as well. Because of this, we always stress the importance of coming back for follow up lessons once you become more familiar with the concept of motorcycle riding.

BUYER BEWARE!!! VETERAN HATER AND NOW SCOFFLAW!
This company is a SCAM. Mark Albert Ross, self proclaimed motorcycle expert cancelled my training because he crashed his motorcycle! This scam artist will try to convince you to pay with Paypal "FRIENDS AND FAMILY" DO NOT pay with Paypal Friends and Family, I had to take him to court to get my money back. The judge ordered him to refund my payment withing 30 days. That was over a month ago and this scofflaw is defying the judge's order. As soon as I said I was a veteran, he figured that he could double scam me. I refused time and again to settle the case because I wanted to show that the judge found in my favor. I couldn't let him get away with scamming veterans. The judge was pissed that I wouldn't settle the case, but I wanted a court ruling, so we went to trial and the judge found in my favor. Everything in this review of JR's Cycle training is my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.
Sad to say, Mark is a great teacher very knowledgeable on what his doing but unfurtenally very irresponsible in getting back , to follow up with phone calls and text. Cancel at the last minute or either he is sick or something else. I am not mad because he took the money , money goes and comes . I am more disappointed because I invested time , never follow his protocol , the deal was to take the class , take the driving test . Integrity , commitment to show up , to take in consideration ppl times , not good at all. To this day I have not been able to take the driving test because I feel it was not enough time for the money I paid. Very disappointed time and dedication . Is like been in square zero again.
I am actually more sad than I am angry. I called Mark after I took the Pennsylvania course where I did not pass the test. I was happy to speak to Mark at length regarding his teaching methods and knowledge. He seemed extremely intelligent, knowledge, reassuring, encouraging, and enthusiastic. When I booked he asked me to pay through Apple Cash which I felt very uneasy about and would not normally use to pay for any service. I was even warned through Apple Pay that it was potentially a scam, which of course I texted and asked him for reassurance and he assured me it was fine and he was not a scammer. I made sure to read his reviews again and sadly decide to pay $375 through Apple Cash. Mark was great until he received my payment. He cancelled my first lesson the night before, then did not respond to calls and texts to reschedule, and then finally after almost a month, answered my calls to reschedule. Upon the rescheduled date he did not answer calls and texts. I’d like MY money back.
ZERO STARS!!!!! I paid him $375.00 on August 24, 2023 for a four (4) hour lesson which we scheduled for September 3, 2023. Five (5) hours prior to the lesson ,Mark Ross cancelled via text message stating he was sick. Now Mark Ross is ignoring my text messages and emails.
I paid him 400
Dollars for a private motorcycle lesson and now he is not answering my phone calls or text. If you need proof I have my receipt and text messages! Do not pay upfront! I would give 0 stars if I could.

You responded to my message of me warning people to not pay you upfront for cycle lessons due to you stealing 400 dollars from me and not providing the cycle lessons I paid for. You blocked me and will not answer any of my calls or text . I posted my receipts and text messages from you on your Facebook and Instagram page. You have since deleted my messages and at an attempt to do damage control blocked me from Facebook and Instagram! You have the audacity to lie and say you don’t know who I am. I wish this site would allow pictures because I would provide all the proof needed so you would not be able to do this to anyone ever again. We should all get together and place a lawsuit against you are a thief, liar and not to be trusted!!!
Mark JR's Private Cycle Lessons (JR's PCL): Any motorcycle course you wish to attend you must pay up front. That is the industry itself. I don't even know who this is considering it doesnt show me.
