Looking for a Landscaping or Carpentry Apprenticeship?

I am looking to find a potential apprenticeship with a local landscaping or general contractor. I have a lot of experience in both fields and I'm looking for credible experience with licensed contractors in the hopes of someday applying for a state license.

In this day and age, apprenticeships with quality craftsman/ women are hard to come by and I would be thrilled to learn exceptional quality work from someone willing to teach. Whether I'm volunteering my time to assist with projects, or whether I could find payed work, I'm willing to devote a serious effort to growing my skills.

I have great references from clients around Humboldt County and have been a resident for over 7 years. I work part time and I am currently ranch hand for a work trade living situation. I have a bachelors degree in Studio Art from Humboldt State and I believe myself to be an excellent craftsman and a dependable person. I don't drink or smoke, I have my own tools and a really dependable truck.

My long term goal is to have a few years of documentable work under my belt and continue my education with a State Contractor License school to obtain a California State Contracting License in either Landscaping or General Contracting.
