Please do not use this Jose handy man services he'a fraud . he came to my home for job gave him deposit he took 3 days to come start with several phone calls before he showed up. he will tell you he's committed to doing his work but lying and will find a way of collecting more money for other things he says he finds around your home. Warning i you've been a victim or about to stop. the news media have to know about him to stop others from falling victim
Hired him to repair some flood damage. Gave him $2,200 up front. Showed up this morning and I complained about an "awning" that was to have been done to keep water from damaging the back door. He turned around and said "OK I'll cancel the job". Leaving us with incomplete and horrible work. We have pictures and we are contacting an attorney.
Jose was hired to put up the crown molding and remove a wall in my new house and fix the floor where the wall was removed. I made the mistake of paying him before the job was finished and I haven't seen him since. He also did a horrible job, the crown molding has huge gaps in it, the floor was not stained properly, then he put a high gloss poly coat on top of it and it is clear my floor has a matt finish. The wall was not blended and has a line down it plus he didn't replace the 1/4 round molding. There are also exposed metal brackets on my beams that I repeatedly told him that he couldn't leave...and he did. Do not hire Jose because you will be highly disappointed . He will not return phone calls or texts. Now I have to hire someone else to come in and clean up the mess he left in my new house.
Jose took $8,500 and never ordered materials and did very little work on the house. He is a swindler and a thief. I asked to settle our differences amicably but he just ignored me and when I threatened to sue him in small claims court and he just said do it.
I'm in the same boat. Hired him to do some work at my house. Gave a deposit. He refuses to return my deposit even though he didn't do any work
