Well we have joined the crowd of folks who have had to fire Rick for shoddy work and failing to show up on any regular schedule. Every day it was a new excuse and we finally got fed up and fired him. We ended up losing our deposit like many others who made the mistake of dealing with him. The job was to replace our current cedar deck boards with composite and expand the size of the deck. I ended up doing the bulk of the demo and the work he did on the extension is so far out of level that I am going to have to pay someone to fix it. Run away from this man as fast as you can.
CON ARTIST!!! I wish I saw these reviews before hiring, firing & losing out on our deposit.
Rick is very unprofessional. I decided to give this man the benefit of doubt, and he ran off with $1600. He was suppose to put up a vinyl fence for my business, but after he got half down for the job he quit answering the phone. He’s bad for business.
BEWARE!!!! Not a professional in any way! Don't EVER use him. Hired for 2 jobs, kitchen tile backsplash and mud & tape basement drywall (partial basement walls). He has NO IDEA what he is doing. His day starts at 10:00 - 11:00 AM, leaves for hours, returns when he wants. Called in sick because he was too tired from the night before. The day we fired him, he showed up at 1:30 pm to start the day. He totally screwed up our backsplash ( 1x1" tiles on mesh); uneven tiles, uneven pattern follow, too much thin set, seeped through joints and onto face of tiles, no enough space between tiles to grout. Where tile was mismatched he just cut out and used "glue" to replace. What should have been a two-day job (tile) and one and a half for the mud & tape, and paint went into a 6 day job. No concept of the trade, no pride in craftsmanship - TOTALLY incompetent!! We're out our deposit and still living this nightmare!
This guy is a joke and a thief. The only guarantee you’ll get is having to pay someone else to fix what he left behind. Oh and code? He doesn’t know what that is. Please please do not waste your money- or time
