Rick completely botched my drywall job. He often would leave after a couple hours of work, though I told him I had an aggressive deadline (2 weeks), and he agreed to finish the work on time. After a little while, he started making more and more excuses for why he couldn't show up that day, until he just didn't show up one day, and didn't call.

He butted different thicknesses together, couldn't cut a straight line, left enormous gaps, used some goofy spray adhesive to try to adhere paper tape, drywalled over an electrical box, used a sawzall to make meandering cuts in rock that was already on the walls, smoked in the house, threw butts in the yard, stole a beer out of my fridge, tried to spend the night on the job site...

The guy's a nightmare, and nowhere near professional, or competent. The only work that was done reasonably well was the part he subcontracted out. His bid is the lowest for good reason - you get what you pay for. Stay away from this guy.
