Rejuvenating Tai Chi Exercises Perfect For Those 50+

  • Personal Trainers

Discover how you can reduce chronic pain, improve your energy levels, and feel better in as little as ONE hour per week.

My name is Andrew Dao and I am a certified Tai Chi teacher. If you're an adult over the age of 50 who has ever thought "Exercise would be great for my body... but I just don't think I can manage that!", I have the perfect solution for you.

Tai Chi: Moving For Better Balance
This gentle form of exercise is derived from the traditional martial art system of Tai Chi Chuan, which has a history of more than 400 years. Tai Chi: Moving For Better Balance is specifically for people who don't feel comfortable doing "traditional exercises" in the gym, or who want a gentler form of exercise that will build up their energy.

Instead of hurting your body and putting you in pain, these exercises will help your body stretch, expand, and become stronger and more flexible through carefully designed body movements that have been researched at the University of Oregon.

If you are living alone or want to maintain your independence as an adult, this is the perfect program for you!

It is the ONLY tai chi program that has been certified by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to reduce the risk of falls by more than 50%, and it is sponsored and approved by National Council on Aging (NCOA), a non-profit group that provides resources to improve the lives of seniors.

And it has been shown that just by practicing Tai Chi 1-2 times a week, your balance improves, the risk of injury decreases, blood pressure can decrease, diabetes risk is lowered, cholesterol levels can be lowered, and the risk of many other medical conditions is dramatically lowered.

We all know exercise is good for the body. Finally, here is a form of exercise you can learn and practice in your own home that will work with your body!

As a certified tai chi teacher with more than 6 years of martial arts experience, I am offering private or semi-private lessons for you and your friends or family members around the Los Angeles area.

Rates are negotiable, with each lesson lasting 1 to 1.5 hours and being held at your home or a nearby park.
