A Couple of Movers

Add me to the long list of people who have been scammed by this company. They start the work with a blank sheet of paper they add costs to after the fact. However, they say they cannot start the work before the paper is signed. The ridiculously wrap each and every piece of furniture of without you asking for the service. Threaten the condition of your furniture if they don’t wrap it. Then charge you upwards from $500 in addition to the move charge for the wrapping! A three hour move took 10 hours because of this then they held my furniture hostage in their truck until a $350 quoted job was charged $1380. I’m filing civil and criminal charges. I’m seeing lawyers this week and my move was today. Tremendous SCAM!

Worst company to deal with.
Helping friend move, and was quoted $3-350 3 hrs plus 1 hr drive included. By phone Andre, will say everything included. Contact says otherwise.
1.5 hrs late... and apparently on the clock.

Got to location to unload and wanted payment to open the truck... holding ALL her and her daughters possessions for ransom.
$700 for packing materials and moving blankets. There were no moving blankets. They used 6 boxes and 1 roll of tape plus 1/2 roll bubble wrap. They were offered tape but refused.
Final bill was $1600!!!! She didn't have it. Explosion of emotions. She and daughter were already moving away from an unfaithful BF.... now ALL their belongings are held hostage by a deceitful Co with bogus charges. Was told everything included
Was able to negotiate down to $900. But daughter's Christmas is gone along with grocery and fuel.
Rip off artists...
Trust pilot lists a Florida Atty General case against them to join if you got scammed.

Two Man Movers LLC Extorting Customers By Holding Belongings For Ransom. Consumers Beware! Protect Yourself!

This company contacted me by getting my info from the Movers.com website. They called me 13 times until I answered. I should have known right there and then. They Loaded my entire 2 bedroom apartment onto their truck. They then pretended that their truck broke down and kept my items overnight. The next day they bring the truck to my storage facility and present me with a bill that is 3 times the amount agreed to. They then called the police as if I wouldn’t pay them and to cover their backs. Police are powerless to force an unload. They left with all of my belongings. The owner of the company called me to tell me that he will not release my items until I paid up the extorted amount.

He also threatened to charge me $250 per day as he sits on it. These people are an unsavory group of criminals. They are extremely skilled at what they do.

Stay Away!

Don't Use Them - They were nice when giving me a quote. But that was it. Moved from a 2nd flr -2 bdrm apt to a 1 floor home. They dropped a large pc of furniture down 12 stairs, and damaged 3 add'l pcs of furniture and I never got paid on the claim. They forged my signature on the contract without me knowing. I had every box packed and ready to go but it still took an entire day to move 10 miles away. Quote was 450. Actual Charge 1100. They Stood around outside smoking and talking on cell phones instead of working. Way Overcharged me for packing materials and then at the house delivery, they informed me if I didn't pay them WHAT THEY WANTED, the truck would not be unloaded. I suggest you pick another company. I never got paid on the claim because they use a 3rd party company that never responded. Save your money.

Carlos the telephone operator offered us USD95 per hour, for 3 people, the additional hours would cost an additional USD95 per hour.
This price supposedly included everything, disassembly and assembly of some furniture, and protection with furniture blankets. A different contract appeared at this time where they added an additional hour for USD95 transfer and in addition to USD65 for fuel charges.
Our price of USD700 became another of USD1,100. Then we tried again to communicate with Carlos, who definitely disappeared.
We had to negotiate, the situation was very tense and unpleasant and they proposed to lower the cost to 1,000 ... they adjusted the billing for the USD700 company and proposed us to pay USD300 as tips for them. They insisted that either we took the original cost of 1,100 or the new cost of 1,000, We wanted to end the bad time we agreed and we had to pay US700 with credit card and USD300 in cash as tips for them, if they did not agree they would not do the job.
