A Couple of Movers

AWFUL. Wouldn't place items in the home where requested, refused to use dollies/protective padding on the furniture, and damaged my front door. While being paid hourly, movers each carried one pillow into the home, rather than wrapping the couch to move it it with its pillows or using a dolly to move multiple items at once. Movers were extremely rude & aggressive. We eventually had to ask them to step outside the apartment for us to pay them, so they could just go. They refused to leave, and we had to call 911. Once the police got them into the hallway, we obviously paid. They charged us for the hour they were sitting in my apartment, trespassing, after we had asked them to leave and called the police. We weren't even in the apartment for that time because 911 told us to leave when we called the police. I emailed requesting a refund for the hour they sat trespassing. I never even received a reply. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau after and saw they had a "F" rating.

I made a contract reservation with a rep. named Ivan receiving the price of the move; . FINAL PRICE. IVAN 305-439-5166, and of course in the end, I payed more than 200 extra dollars. The workers never finished putting everything together as they said they would and they not only broke 4 pane windows of the China's cabinet, they also remained with some of our boxes. I called to speak with Ivan, and he told me to call the owner of the company and that I should not have paid more, but there is nothing he can do about it. Then I call the owner of this ""company" who told me that it is not his problem. I called the two Russian guys who made the move and after apologizing verbally and in writing, they told me they could not do anything, that other people had used the truck and broke the pane windows "by accident" left in the truck. Nobody is going to pay for the pane windows or return my two boxes! This is stealing! Please, never use this company if you do not want to be scammed

How can you write an honest review in under 1000 words? This company was over an hour late showing up, and damaged EVERY SINGLE PIECE of my furniture. Some very badly. They didn't have the items that I was told they would have ie, plastic wrap, mattress bags... and they were terrible doing the job. Go to some other review sites for movers and find my full review there.

DO NOT USE this company. I am now forced to sue them because no answers their customer service line and I have not heard anything back from their "insurance claim department" where I sent over 40 separate pics of damage.

A Couple of Movers were great. They called morning of to let me know what time they would be pulling up. Ivan explained everything before they got started, and although the elevator at my new place slowed us down a bit, they were very clear on the additional charges for the extended time.

A Couple of Movers is the best!!! Richard and Matthew were absolutely excellent! They were kind, courteous, efficient and fast. They took great care of our belongings. It's a scary feeling when your whole life is packed into one truck. But I felt completely at ease with these guys on the job. I usually hate moving, but they actually made it a pleasant experience. Thanks guys!
