Kinds of furniture to be built: kitchen table.  Existing plans: No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want.  Detailed description: I have a series of pictures which show what looks like a normal unit of five shelves on the wall; but when someone reaches up and gently pulls the top of the shelf unit outward and downward, the shelves pivot, remaining parallel to the floor, so as to form a small table. (The shelves remain horizontal at all times: as a shelf unit, while being lowered, and as a table.) When the shelf unit is completely lowered, the shelves are still horizontal, parallel to the floor, having transformed itself into a flat & level table. If any items were on the shelves, they are still in place, but now on a table! This project might require a wood and metal combination, or wood only, as per the advice of the carpenter. This will be built/installed in a tiny house on wheels (24' long and 8 1/2' wide), where the wise use of space is critically important. The table will be used for where I eat, play board games with friends, do paperwork, etc; but will fold up out of the way when not in use.
